Welcome to Expensy ("the App"), an expense tracking application developed by BoringSoft ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
The App provides expense tracking functionality designed for freelancers. Key features include:
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing a display name, email address, and password, or by using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
The App offers subscription-based access to premium features. Subscription options, pricing, and features are displayed within the App and may change from time to time.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BoringSoft and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your expense data and any content you create within the App.
The App uses artificial intelligence to scan and parse receipt images. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated data extraction may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all expense data before using it for tax, accounting, or other purposes. We are not liable for any errors or inaccuracies in AI-processed data.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The App is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoringSoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoringSoft and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time through the App's account settings.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Brussels, Belgium, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
